In
2003, 23 year old Rachel Corrie left her American hometown and went to
Palestine as a part of peaceful demonstrations in the Gaza Strip against
the demolition of civilian homes by the Israeli Defence Forces.
In March that year she was killed by an IDF bulldozer.
My Name is Rachel Corrie
is the story of one individual’s journey in the global struggle for
sense and justice. Through her extraordinary journals, emails and
writings we are offered a deeply personal insight into the core of
another human being.
